That Lagos is in serious decay under the leadership of Governor Sanwo-Olu is no longer news. What is appalling is the general apathy Sanwo-Olu has for the people of Lagos especially the people of Ijebu-Lekki. He has completely abandoned them. As we speak a section of Lekki-Epe Expressway at Awayoyo is completely cut off with no palliatives nor care by a Governor who sits on N35Billion IGR per month. Yet it wont take Twenty Bags (20), labour and a few trips of sand to fix the failed sections of the Expressway. What has Lagosians done to deserve this neglect from a man like Sanwo-Olu who they are supported and voted into office?

Please read: The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the release of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu from the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja. Justice Mohammed Liman ordered Senator Kalu’s release on Tuesday morning after listening to an application filed by the former governor. Senator Kalu, a two-term former governor of Abia State, had urged the court to set aside his conviction on December 5, 2019, by Justice Mohammed Idris. The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has chided President Muhammadu Buhari over replacement of the sacked National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Director-General, Ambassador Ayo Oke with Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, a northerner.
