NEW YEAR TRAGEDY: Traditional ruler and wife killed. House and car set a blaze.
In what can only fit a Hollywood action movie; tragedy struck again in Southern Kaduna on New Year day when a respected Traditional Ruler and his wife's life were cut short by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
According to news reports, the Monarch was killed along his wife, yet there is no official statement to condemn the dastard act of the criminals by the Kaduna State midget-in-Chief or President Buhari. Is this a strategic consent to encourage these incessant acts of violence or is there more to it than meets the eye?
The big question before the nation now is: how long will the authorities continue to allow these bloodletting while we remain the laughing stock of international comity, while our country is being rebranded as an unsafe haven for FDIs and foreigners?

Kaduna – Another tragedy struck in Southern Kaduna early in the new year as a traditional ruler, the Etum Numana, Mr. Gambo Makama and his wife were shot dead and his palace and car set ablaze by unknown gunmen in the volatile southern Kaduna region.
The son of the traditional ruler was however lucky as he survived the attack with gun shot injuries and is being treated at an undisclosed hospital.
The killing of the traditional ruler and his wife has brought to ten, the number of persons killed by unknown gunmen in southern Kaduna in the last one week.
The state police Public relations officer, Asp Aliyu Mukhtar who co firmed the killing said although no arrest had been made, the police were on the trail of the gunmen.
