ERA OF GROSS MISINFORMATION IN ASO ROCK: Fulani owns part of Benue State therefore the mass killings is as a result of communal crisis - IGP Idriss.

IGP IDRISS HAS SINISTER MOTIVES BY MISREPRESENTATION THE FACTS.

Just when the nation is trying to come to terms with the recent killing of another 10 by Fulani herdsmen in Benue State after the gruesome New Year day massacre of 50; the misguided and misdirectional Inspector General of Police has just added 'salt to injury' by misinforming his principal that the true cause of the massacres in Benue State is communal misunderstanding.

IGP Idriss is known for many unpalatable things in the past, but this a 'new low' that cannot be swept aside. It confirms the concerns of Nigerians that the many failings of the Buhari-led government comes from terrible, inefficient and bias advises from men like IGP Idriss.
Furthermore, this goes to affirm the urgent need to strengthen our institutions, and confine to the past, times and services of men like Idriss, who are occupying public offices to served themselves and their insatiable greed.

Lastly, while we continue to pray for those who lost their lives due to the gross vicious cycle of insecurity and lawlessness men like Idriss are championing with their style of law enforcement; we condemn, in very strong terms, the look-warm attitude of President Buhari to these incessant bloodshed in Benue, Adamawa,  S"Kaduna, Rivers, Nassarawa and Edo. We also condemn in strong terms the unholy role IGP Idriss and his cohorts in refusing to extinguish the embers of flames in our country. And we ask President Buhari to relieve IGP Idriss of his position and get a more competent cop to serve in his stead. We've had enough from a man who is drunk from corruption proceeds; he makes N120Billion monthly and impregnates young and beautiful female Police officers at will, according to Senator Missau.

Please read the report of IGP Idriss's folly.

IGP meets Buhari, says Benue killings are as a result of 'communal misunderstanding'.

Inspector-General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, has described recent killings in Logo and Guma Local Government Areas of Benue State as a communal crisis.

The police helmsman said this in an interview with State House correspondents on Friday after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Idris noted that he was at Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja to discuss with President Buhari on how to effectively secure the country.

Reacting to an accusation that the Police Force was being reactionary instead of being proactive in stopping the killings, Idris said: "Let’s use the example of Benue. You know most of these states where you have several languages, you know it is an issue of communal misunderstanding. I think what we should be praying for is for Nigerians to learn to live in peace with each other, I think it is very important.

"Obviously, it is communal crisis, herdsmen are part of the community. They are Nigerians and are part of the community. Are they not?"

He said as part of new measures, the Force would deploy more units to support the efforts being made in Benue in order to adequately protect "the men and communities and members."

He assured that such a carnage "will not repeat itself”.

The police boss also stated that "Obviously, I think Nigeria is well secured.”
